Fertilizer Packaging & Palletizing Automation
YUSHUNXIN's packaging automation family turns the end of your fertilizer line into a low-labor, traceable, high-throughput unit: automatic bag placing, net-weight filling, sealing, checkweighing, metal detection, robotic or high-level palletizing, and stretch wrapping — integrated with PLC recipe switching and production statistics.
5–50 kg bagging plus FIBC ton-bag packing
Robotic or high-level palletizing per bag type & speed
Checkweighing & metal detection for export quality
Full line automation with recipe switching
Why choose this line
Packaging is where fertilizer lines lose or win money. Automatic bagging, checkweighing, metal detection and robotic or high-level palletizing cut packing headcount typically by 60–80%, improve export weight compliance, and free operators for higher-value work.
Is this solution for you?
Read this first: the solution fits specific customers, scenarios and project stages. If you are not the target, the configuration and quote will not be right.
Suitable for
- Fertilizer plants replacing manual bagging and stacking with automatic packing lines
- Producers of 5-50 kg bags or FIBC ton-bags who need weight compliance for export
- Plants with high labor turnover where packing is the bottleneck
- Companies adding robotic palletizing with multiple bag patterns
Not suitable / confirm first
- Very low-volume producers (under ~300 bags/h) where semi-auto equipment is more economical
- Projects without confirmed bag type, material flowability or target line speed
- Customers expecting a single machine to fix an upstream quality problem (packaging cannot compensate for inconsistent product)
What customers face before this solution
These are the real operating problems this line is designed to solve - and why they happen.
Typical problems
- Packing labor cost is high and output is limited by manual weighing and stacking
- Bag weights drift, causing export rejections and customer claims
- Bag placing, filling, sealing and palletizing are not synchronized, so the line idles at each interface
- Pallet patterns are unstable, causing damage in transit
- Changeover between bag sizes takes hours
- No production data, so managers cannot see output, rejects or downtime
Why they happen
- Manual weighing has human reaction time and fatigue built in
- No checkweigher and reject gate, so drift is discovered after the pallet is built
- Machines are bought from different suppliers with no common control and no buffer conveyors
- Palletizing is done by hand without pattern planning, or the robot program is not tuned to the bag
- Bag-size changes require re-tensioning and re-programming without quick-change tooling
- No line PLC, so OEE data is invisible
Why a complete line, not single machines
The packing line fails at the seams: the bagger's speed means nothing if the bag placer cannot keep up, and the palletizer's speed means nothing if the checkweigher rejects create a bottleneck. A packaging line is one control loop with buffers, reject handling and pattern logic. That is why we deliver it as a linked train, not as separate machines.
How the line works
Bag Placing & Filling
Automatic bag placer opens, positions and fills bags with net-weight accuracy.
Sealing
Sewn or heat-sealed closures per bag type and material.
Checkweighing & Detection
In-line checkweigher and metal detection reject off-weight or contaminated bags.
Shaping & Palletizing
Bag shaping, robotic or high-level palletizing with pattern switching.
Wrapping & Output
Stretch wrapping and pallet conveying to warehouse or dock.

Why we configure it this way
Equipment is not a list - it is a response to your conditions. This is how your conditions change the configuration:
| When your project is... | We configure... |
|---|---|
| Single standard bag, very high speed | High-level palletizer for continuous, one-pattern output |
| Frequent bag or pattern changes | Robotic palletizer with 6+ stored patterns and quick-change grippers |
| Export compliance | Net-weight bagger + checkweigher + reject gate + stretch wrapping |
| Ton-bag (FIBC) handling | FIBC filling station with de-aeration and palletizing of totes |
| 5 kg pouches | Multi-head pouch filler + checkweigher + case packing + palletizing |
Different projects get different configurations
We do not apply one template to every customer. Here are three common scenarios and how the configuration changes.
WSF producer (600 bags/h)
Focus: Weight compliance and labor reduction
Auto bag placing + net-weight filler + checkweigher + robotic palletizer
BB exporter (dual-bucket)
Focus: High throughput
Dual-bucket packers + high-level palletizing + stretch wrap
Ton-bag producer
Focus: Heavy bags, stable pallets
FIBC filler + de-aeration + semi-auto palletizing
From inquiry to commissioning
This is the delivery path we follow for every complete line project.
Confirm requirements
Raw materials, formula, capacity, bag size, utilities and site conditions are confirmed in a technical questionnaire.
Process design & layout
We produce a process flow, line layout and foundation drawings sized to your material data.
Quotation with scope
You receive a quotation with an itemized delivery scope - what is included and what is excluded.
Order & fabrication
Fabrication starts with progress updates; long-lead items are ordered first.
Factory testing
Machines are assembled and no-load tested; weighing and control systems are calibrated.
Export packing
Equipment is export-packed with anti-rust treatment and a packing list for customs.
Delivery & installation
Machines ship FOB/CIF/door-to-door; installation is supervised on site or via video guidance.
Commissioning & training
We commission the line, train your operators and stabilize process parameters.
Acceptance & after-sales
Acceptance is based on agreed metrics; spares and remote support continue after handover.
What to prepare before requesting a quote
The better your information, the closer the first quote is to the final one. Prepare these items:
- Product type and flowability (powder, granule, prill)
- Bag type, size and weight (paper, PP woven, valve or open-mouth)
- Target line speed in bags/h
- Pallet size and required stacking pattern
- Export weight tolerance and documentation needs
- Available space for bag storage, conveyors and pallet buffers
- Existing upstream equipment and its output rate
- Voltage/frequency and air supply
Request a packaging line speed study
To study your packaging line, send: product type and flowability, bag type/weight, target bags/h, pallet size and pattern, export tolerance, site space and existing upstream output.

When this solution does not apply
Honest boundaries make a proposal credible. These conditions must be confirmed before the configuration is valid:
- Speed and accuracy depend on material flowability and bag type; we confirm with material/bag testing before guaranteeing numbers
- Palletizer footprint and pallet buffer space must exist on site
- Retrofitting to an existing line requires an interface audit - we do this before quoting
- Very dusty or sticky products may need special filling heads and de-dusting
How we verify the solution works
Performance is checked with measurable indicators, not adjectives. These are the acceptance checks for this type of line:
| Indicator | How it is verified |
|---|---|
| Line speed | Run 1 hour at target bags/h and record actual output |
| Weight accuracy | Checkweigher audit of 50 consecutive bags against legal tolerance |
| Reject handling | Verify reject gate and rework path on 10 deliberately off-weight bags |
| Pallet stability | Transport-test one pallet or verify pattern interlocking |
| Changeover time | Time a bag-size or pattern change including re-programming |
